Who we are
This website is run by VHS Digital (“we”). We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us the data controller.

When we work for a client, any personal data we handle for that client is covered by our contract with them, not by this policy.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use these providers to run the site and our business:
- Squarespace (website hosting, visit statistics, newsletter, and Acuity Scheduling for bookings)
- Formspree (delivers the contact form to our inbox)
- Google Fonts (serves the typefaces; your browser connects to Google to load them)
- Streamable (plays some videos on our case studies)
- Our email provider, to receive and answer your messages
We may also share data with professional advisers such as our accountant, or with authorities when the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK and EU
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EU, we rely on the UK–US data bridge or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework when the provider is certified, or on standard contractual clauses approved for the UK and EU.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and bookings that don’t lead to a project: 24 months after our last contact
- Client and invoicing records: 6 years, to meet UK tax and accounting rules
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
- Visit statistics: as set by Squarespace Analytics
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to us using it, and you can always say no to marketing. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@vhsdigi.com and we will reply within one month.
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to put things right. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113) or, if you live in the EU, to your local data protection authority, such as the CNIL in France (cnil.fr).
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
